Almutras Nigeria Limited has officially entered into a strategic procurement agreement with Beehives Keeper Limited for the supply of two (2) Closed Drain Pumps designated for the Utorogu Non-Associated Gas II (NAG II) Gas Plant in Warri, Delta State. The signing marks an important milestone for both organizations as they work to support enhanced operational reliability within one of the region’s major gas-processing facilities.
The contract was formally executed by the Managing Director of Almutras Nigeria Limited, Mr. Suleiman Sani, and the Managing Director of Beehives Keeper Limited, Mr. Sadiq Abubakar Mohammed. During the signing ceremony, both leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening Nigeria’s gas infrastructure through partnerships that prioritize technical quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
The Closed Drain Pumps to be supplied under this agreement are critical components in the plant’s condensate recovery and closed drain management system. Their installation is expected to improve fluid handling efficiency, reduce losses, and enhance overall process safety within the Utorogu NAG II facility. The project also aligns with broader environmental compliance requirements, particularly in managing hydrocarbon residues within operational zones.
According to project stakeholders, the collaboration represents more than a procurement transaction. It is part of a wider commitment to upgrading essential equipment across Nigeria’s gas processing infrastructure. The pumps, along with associated spares, will be delivered and installed in accordance with strict engineering specifications and OEM standards.
Speaking after the signing, both managing directors reaffirmed their organizations’ dedication to maintaining high technical standards throughout the execution phase. They highlighted the importance of safe installation, rigorous quality assurance, and strong project controls to ensure smooth commissioning and long-term reliability.
